I'm new here and a new Subaru owner, so please bear with me! Just bought the 2010 OBS and absolutely LOVE IT.... I like to tinker with cars a bit, so any suggestions for subtle mods (for looks mostly) are greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Stewart.

Welcome and all, looking forward to seeing pics as oppossed to red X's.

We got our 2010 (2.5i wagon, not an OBS) at the end of the year.

Immediately added

* Subwoofer
* Media Hub
* Scoobie Bluetooth
* Homelink/Self-Dimming/Compass Mirror
* Tint (on the back 5 windows)
* Leather

as well as the all weather mats, mud guards and the bumper guard

Only other thing we're trying to decide on is whether or not to add a tow hitch/ski rack or a Thule Roof Mount/Ski Rack

Hi Stewart, hope you are enjoying the OBS.
One, non-looks mod that I highly, highly suggest is the addition of a rear sway bar. The 2008+ NA cars don't have them. You can probalby find a used 09+ OEM WRX rear sway bar for sale for $100 or less. You can get an '08 OEM WRX rear sway bar, but they are smaller than the '09+ bars. You'll also need yo get the mounting hardware. Even if you are not a "performance" focused person this makes the car even more of a plasure to drive than it already is. If you only do one modification to the can in the entire time you own it, this should be it.

If you go to the "Naturally Aspirated" (NA) forum on NASIOC< youw ill see a recent thread (within the last week) on modifications for NA cars. You can get some good ideas there.

Welcome to the community of NBP. Although I still like my chrome headlamps vs. the dark headlamps.

Picked up this exact car for the wife 2 weeks ago. Love the Newport Blue.

She loves driving the car. The insurance company thought it was odd that we now owned 2 Imprezas...

I had the 19mm STi RSB installed with OEM endlinks and cornering is night and day. It makes the car that much more enjoyable.
