Default Battery relocation, with conventional Battery.

ok well i have to relocate my battery for my FMIC install.. i have a regular ol battery from costco.
Is it safe to put it in the trunk of my car, dont they release toxic gases.
my relocation kit has lil tiny vents on the battery box. im wondering how bad it will be... or will i be safe to do it..

A proper enclosure, vented to the outside, is an absolute must when doing a trunk relocation. Even with the box, it is still not a good idea to use a standard wet electrolyte battery due to the potential for acid spillage and gas venting. An Optima or other AGM battery is a far better choice.
Some people with FMIC's have used the Optima Group 51 in the stock location, it is smaller than the OEM 35 size but still has decent cranking and reserve ratings.
