Default A inch of getting my head blown off

Yesterday we got ambushed by the Taliban they hit my Stryker with 400 lbs of HME IED. after the blast we dismounted and had my kevlar blow off my head by a 7.62 mm round. The firefight lasted for more than 5 hours and had to call in A-10s and triple 7 fire from are COP. It was one hell of day. The good news we got 12 of the bastards and not one of us got more than shook up a little bit. I just wanted to say F UUUUUUU Taliban

Good to hear that you and your boys made that out alive. Keep on kicking ass man!

When I was in Washington, I loved seeing the Strykers rolling around on Ft. Lewis doing road block exercises.

Thanks Guys its been a long 8 months, Im ready to come home for sure. This is my third deployment in 5 years so I am very tired. I hope when I get home we can get some type of meet going. Looking forward to putting many faces to your screen names. This board has often saved my sanity over here.

Indeed. We should set something up for sure. Just keep doing what you're doing and stay safe. We can all throw back a few sometime.
