Default v5 dccd trans swap questions

I have a 98 Legacy that is EJ205 swapped, other than needing a 4.44 rear diff and wiring for the DCCD is there going to be issues with the Hubs and axels on the swap?

front axles shouldn't have issues. You can drive without a DCCD controller.
There are a handful of 4.444 R160's. I see them almost everyday. Come out of Auto Outbacks; 97-04 and Foresters 97-05.

I saw those too. I am in a huge thinking about what I wanna do trans wise with my car. 4.44 would be really nice, however I can't really find what I want, and I don't want any down time like I'd get from a RA set from ralli or a ppg set. Just wanna drop and run.

so do you have the tranny that came with the motor??? The STi V5 isn't much different from a 2.5RS tranny in gearing vs speed except a tad shorter 5th gear. Don't let the 4.444 fool you, look at the gear ratios. The shorter are the STi RA/Type R/WRX RA

it's a type-r RA set. And I have been running my stock lgt trans in my swap. I am currently building a EJ255 hybrid and will be right around 350whp when I'm done and want something a bit stronger with option of dccd and don't want a 6spd. 6mts
