Default tmic to TB T-bolt hose clamp size

since ive upgraded my tmic for the hundredth time i think its time for new clamps.i normally buy from hose techniques because they work and are cheap.
i keep running into the same issue, their sizing throws me off.their 2.5" clamp has a range of 2.64-2.95"
since i have a spearco tmic and im using samco couplers, what size clamps should i use to make sure i clamp down correctly?
i was going to get the 2.38" for the TB side and the 2.5" for the tmic side
or is my idea super duper flawed?

Take a piece of string and wrap it around the hose and then measure the string with a ruler.
Get whatever clamp that will fit the measured length.

what? why would you measure the circumference? he needs the diameter.

you can take that measurement and divide it by pi however to get a rough OD.

a 2-3/4" Clamp is ideal.
