Pool, paintball, bowling (I prolly wouldn't play) but would hang out. Bar for live entertainment if we are all over 21, theres usually a decent band or two around Hyannis.

im thinking of heading over to massdriven.. dunno how good of an idea it is cuz i know some of the members in western mass are, well, not the smartest people when it comes to a meet (loud obnoxious know it all sorts with a bad attitude who want to race anything and everything). not saying everyone in western mass is that way most of the ppl i hang out with are good guys, and a girl every now and then theres just always those few that ruin it.

I suspect if you lock down a location and time you'd get more interest. I'm in Kingston and not averse to coming down, but without additional information, I can't commit to anything...

See, this is the input Ive been wanting, me and NRTMotorsports have been the only 2 contributing which makes it hard to get something really going. The more people express interest, the faster we can get these things going. I want to say we determined between 8 and 9 as out meeting time however location is a problem. Im pretty much up for whatever is good for everyone. Pool is relatively cheap and you can get alot of people there but im not sure how other feel about it. There are an abundance of places we could meet just no one seems to want to show initiative to say "Hey we could do something here weekly" or "hey ive heard this place is pretty cool should we check it out". Id like to get something set up where we get a good amount of people and well its actually pretty tough, alot tougher then i thought.

Have you considered something right at the bridge? There are some great open areas just off Route 6 and Route 28 in the Bourne, Wareham area that hold plenty of cars and nice scenery, if you just want to do some "hard parking". You'll get more people this way.

If you want this to be a "do something" meet, expect a smaller crowd, and keep it simple. Say meet a local restaurant and hang out. There's a really nice Red Robin just over the bridge in Wareham with plenty of parking. Plus I'm sure there is stuff right around the Cape Cod Mall as well.

What day of the week are you thinking? Thursday, Friday, Saturday?

Seems like Saturday night was the overall best choice for everyone. Maybe a hard parking meet would be alot better. Ive seen both meets and the hard parking had the best overall turnout, but in the colder months we went to a do something meet which turned out well. Im not sure how well a hard parking meet would work around here since im really not sure how the police are about that sort of thing. maybe if someone works near a place with a big private lot maybe something could be arranged there? Im a little hesitant about hanging out in a big public lot and have the cops be dbags because its winter on the cape and theres nothing else to do but ticket for loitering. idk if thats really the case but we should look into it.

Public lots are fine. The cops only ticket if you give them a reason. If we keep it chill, there won't be any trouble. Ask anyone whose been around NESIC for a while. We've been doing this type of stuff for years. There a few lots right on Route 6 that overlook the canal. One in particular jumps out at me. The one at the top of the hill by the Herring Run lot. That lot is typically empty all the time and has plenty of room for a modest turn out (less than 20). On the Cape side, I'm sure we can find somewhere central. I'd go as far as Hyannis, but not much farther.

"Hard Parking" meets at night do tend to draw more attention, so if you still intend on holding it at night, pick a well lit area, central to food and amenities. Weekend day/afternoon is a better time for general get togethers. Nights are better for meeting for food or what not.

well the mall in hyannis has a bunch of parking and theres one lot that sticks out and its right behind the sears and movie theater, and behind the new td bank building. theres a mickey ds, wendys, dangelos, and a few other places that if someone were to want to take off food is only seconds away. its fairly well lit there and itll hold 20+ no problem, and as long as were not ***hats we should be fine. i never had a problem with the western mass meets before. tuesday after 8-830 work for me, or saturdays after 5 then again i could walk to the meets from work on saturday seeing as tho i work at the mall lol
