Default Vagcom tactrix ecuflash

So I am using a vag com cable with my 04 Subaru Baja. I have successfully connected with romraider and been able to log perfectly.

Anyone around the valley that can help me get ecuflash and learning view to work though? I am just about to give up and buy a tactrix even though I know it is possible with a vag com spent 8 hours today installing drivers rebooting my computer etc, no luck...

I pretty much only use mine for logging but I've found that I can't open learning view if I already have the logger open. I have to open learning view then the logger. Hope that helps you, can't speak on the ecuflash stuff thought.

Old faithful right here. That's the way to go IMHO.

There's another one that looks like the one I have. Mine didn't have that fuse thingy on it as is in the link above. Look up Tactrix Subaru and you'll find it. IMHO the older ones without the Bluetooth/micro usb/coffee maker are more reliable..

I couldn't find a 1.3 before you posted that link... Broke down and bought a 2.0 on tactrix website yesterday. Tired of fighting it. Thanks guys!

Just to clarify so there's no confusion, our current OpenPort doesn't feature Bluetooth. It does have a mini USB connector, which can be a reliability issue if you hit it with your knee. Many professional tuners who reflash with our hardware on a daily basis will use an OBD2 extension cable, allowing the OpenPort 2.0 to be positioned away from the driver's knee, which eliminates any impact issues with the USB connector. Leg/knee impact issues aside, the circuitry is extremely reliable and we stand behind our product. If you ever have a problem with the circuit of an OpenPort 2.0, we'll take a look at it for free, even if it's years old or you aren't the original owner. We couldn't take that stand if the product wasn't reliable.

Coffee making functionality still under testing.

Thanks for your order. It shipped out yesterday and I'm guessing your postal carrier will deliver it tomorrow. Feel free to contact us if you have any issues reflashing your ECU: support at tactrix dot com

Cheers,
Mike

I stand corrected. I could have sworn I read on Tactrix it did when they first came out. However, my 1.3 has been a trooper for 8 years now!

P.S. Let me know the MINUTE you get the coffee maker figured out! LOL
