OK that was simple:
Code P0457 Evap System Leak Detection- Fuel Cap

I did notice when I stopped to fuel up this morning that the cap had seemed a little loose. I verified cap was tight and had the technician reset.
Thanks Charlie and thanks wgr73

Sweet, that would do it! I had that stupid code go off on me like 4-5 times this past month. Mine turned out being the solenoid on the front of the intake manifold. I just disabled the cel.

Guys I'm looking for some feedback on tires. I posted a thread regarding General G-Max AS-03 tires in the Tire Forum and I got a little feedback from someone running them on their WRX up in the Northeast where they experience an unknown phenomenon seldom seen by us locals called "rain". Tirerack shows some decent reviews on this tire as well. Anyways the other tire I am comparing it to is the Kumho Ecsta 4X. Do you know anyone with experience with either tire? I am currently running the OEM Dunlop SP Sport 600. I am looking for a DD tire. thanks

Check the top tires as of 3-22-2012. I just got new tires and did my research for 2 solid weeks. Was gonna get the neovas (advan) but decided on the federal 595 rs-r. Incredible tire, wow. Compared to the star specs they are amazing. Star specs still out perform (but they are loud above 60mph).

The Kumhos are insane in the rain so if you only drive your sti when it rains ( once in 1000 years haha) be careful. I've read horror stories about those.

Thanks wgr73. Now I got yet "ANOTHER" tire to look at.. Thats why I posted up here in the first place. How quiet are the federals? Have you driven them on wet pavement too? (If so, you folks down south have been hogging the rain because I have seen only 1/2 inch since October last year).

Ya dude, there are so many to choose from. To tell you the truth tho, I wouldn't pay very much money on super sticky tires without the supporting mods (sway bars, braces, coils, ect). It wouldn't hurt but you won't see an amazing outstanding difference until you stiffen up the car first.

I have not tried them in the rain yet but on wet pavement. They did fine. Rain is the real test but I'd rather leave my car in the garage and get my truck rained on so it probably won't see much rain if ever!

Problem is around here we never know when it's gonna rain and if it does it may be a frog floater half-way home and dust devils a mile away...throw in some hail and 70 mph crosswinds and there you have an average commute and "normal" new mexico weather. I too leave the the car at the house when it's actually raining because I have 1 1/2 miles of dirt/mud before I hit pavement. As for my tire decision I think I am leaning towards the General G-Max even though it is more than the Federals simply because they should last me a little longer. Right now I am driving 50 miles roundtrip daily with most of that at highway speeds.

Ive got the kuhmos your talking about. Their alright, sorta generic but they lasted me along time, the side walls round off better to fit in fendors and not rub. Negatives are it seems like the sidewalls cave a little when going into a turn. Positives are they are really good at allowing you to get up to high speed and feeling comfortable at that speed. I recommend yokohama for all road tires or the for the best rain grip, speed and control tires are nitto. Note that nitto speed tires have zero snow/ice traction so becareful.

I appreciate the feedback. I ended up ordering the General AS-03's last week as tirerack dropped their price on a closeout. General also started the same promotion as the Kumho's with the $ 50 visa card.

So let's get a head count of who needs a tune from Cam. I know he's really really busy in ABQ so getting down here may not be a priority (right now at least). PM me if you are local(ish) and I'll compile a list. I have 2 for sure. Thanks guys

Sorry I haven't got back to you guys. We have 3 as of today. As you guys know Cam is super busy is ABQ and isn't even in the states right now (The guys in St. Maartin don't want him to leave lol).

On another note, I finally got a GoPro so expect some nice in cab action next track day!!
