Default 09 wrx front seats in a 02 wrx?

Could someone point me in the right direction on how to make 09 wrx front seats fit in a 02 wrx. Thanks in advanced

pretty sure you just have to bend one of the brackets and it should bolt up no prob

I know the 08-09 STi seats bolt right into 02-07 impreza's.

Not sure on the WRX ones.

One thing though, you will have an airbag light.

Are you talking with or without the rails and mounts to the actual chassis?

]would it effect its function? or just the light?

does it bolt directly to the 02 wrx rails?

^ i've seen pictures of one successful swap - but custom base. 2 others have bent brackets and made them fit - one bent the inner rear bracket, the other bent a few of them and only got 3 bolts in. nothing conclusive though. in iraq right now, i'll be doing mine when i come home for leave in april : )

even the bottom of the seats mount different to the rails!

I agree with this, Recently put STI seats in my 02 WRX and the WRX ones held me in place a lot better.
