Winged Warrior 6 Import vs. Domestic Shootout

Hey Guys,

I'm going down to Indianapolis for the Winged Warrior Shootout again this year. The event is on May 8th, with Registration on the night of the 7th, as well as practice runs on the drag strip. The event is great and usually has a big turnout. People bring out all kinds of cars and the classing system is based on the NASA points system and WAY more forgiving for street cars than the SCCA system.

The events include:

-High Speed Autocross
-Timed Slalom
-Drag passes for best ET
-Heads up Drag Eliminations
-Racers car show
-RallyX

Now I know some people probably have some reservations about rallyXing their track toy or DD, well that's just fine because we don't have to. While our cars are being judged in the car show we'll head over to the rallyX course and make our 5 runs in prepped 2.5rs rallyX cars.

If anyone else is interested in going let me know, I've gone the last 3 years and it's an absolute blast.

If anyone is interested in going PM me or post on here and I'll help you get registerred (if you need help). Cost is $80 for the event which is extremely cheap for a race of this calibre AND the money goes to sick kids anyway

PS. I posted this on a few forums, I doubt the Nasioc crowd is as concerned about RallyXing their cars as some of the others, but we still get to use the RS rallyX cars which will be fun. I always enjoy thrashing someone elses hardware

We're not going to be able to compete this year as we'll be wrapping up One Lap of America that day, BUT we drive right past there on our way home after the event so we're going to stop in and say hi to everyone.

Maybe I'll see you guys at the RTA event in New Jersey too... Planning on cutting my Time Attack teeth there this year...

Bump it up. Registration is still open guys and girls. Lots of really impressive cars signed up, and also a lot of daily drivers. Whatever you're driving will be a good car for this race!
