Default JDM EJ205 into BK

Im 1/2 through the wiring on my swap and I had a few queries before I button up the dash and start on the mechanical.

1) I know I need a turbo x-member, will a 07 GDF STi work?
2) Will I be able to retain OBD as long as the JDM ECU has OBD ?

1) Yes you can use your stock a-arms but you will need to shim them to make them fit right.
2)The JDM ecus' are all obd1.

What is needed to shim the A-Arms? Washers? Any visual aids?

With an 07 GD chassis cross, your rack and pinion won't fit right.

Find a x-member from a bugeye, everything will be much easier.

Yes washers... get stainless washers that fit the best. Not really that hard, but people tend to cheap out on this very crucial part.

Should cost no more than $10.

Will do, thanks! The bloke also has the entire front STi subframe for sale, so I may just go with the STi C/As and steering rack, but its a bit $$$
