Default AutoX helmets

The new snell standard is in effect as of October 1st. I am in the market for a new helmet and I have a budget of up to 400$ USD. I have picked out three full face helmets. I was wondering if you have any opinions or suggestions.

I wear glasses and need a medium sized one. These are the three I have picked out. I have worn G-Force before and they are okay. The bell has some more adjustments and visor options which don't seem helpful since I have sunglasses.

Bell helmet

And a cheaper G-Force

On mobile please forgive my horrible formatting.

Best thing you can do is go try them on. Trackside and other motorsports shops can help you with that. It might be a bit of a haul, depending on where you are, but you'll have this helmet for many years if you treat it well.

Definitely take the time to find a shop and try it on. Very much a personal feel kind of thing. It's an investment that should last a long time, so make it count and get it right the first time.

I've gone through the same problem.

I just don't have a shop near me that has the variety I'd like. I ended up biting the bullet, measuring my head, and ordering the corresponding size.

For the most part, I don't have an awkwardly shaped head. All helmets I've tired have been snug, and comfortable.

My biggest challenge has been height. I'm 6 feet, combined with my helmet, my head hits the roof. I had to specifically shop around for a helmet that had a shorter profile.

I ended up buying a black armor circuit 2015.

I wear contacts, so I don't need to bother about glasses. The only time I put any eye wear on was for sun/glare protection. Now that I finally have a full face, I opted for an Iridium visor.

At the end of the day, if you can't get to a shop that has some to try, then measuring your head accurately will be your best bet.
