Default 2010 STI Cobb Stg2 Datalog v104 map

got my v2 AP back from Cobb (fixed bugged 2010 STI v103 maps). so I tried the Stg 2 91ACN LWG (over-boosting) map...... and it SUCKED!

Power was very noticably lower, realizing it was capping boost at about 18 psi.

So I reflashed it with the "regular" Stg. 2 91ACN v104 map, and it seems to run & even start much better.

Here's a data log. It's a 3rd gear & 4th gear pull separated by color-coding.

Not sure if that brief period of Knock-correction timing pull is a big deal. It settled back out when the rpm's elevated in 4th gear, and was absent in 3rd gear.

I will need to do some logging on the highway for 5th & 6th gear pulls to see if the knock correction intervenes more in higher gears / higher loads.

Boost pressures look pretty good just barely touching 19 psi. I don't think I need to use the LWG map designed for those experiencing over-boosting.

Also noticed that the injector duty cycle is getting pretty darn close to maxed out!

Would appreciate any observations from it.

I'm really interested, but have no idea what I am looking at...which map is this output from? It would be really helpful if you had log data from stock, and the different stage 2 tunes. I haven't had the pleasure of working with log data from these yet (all my time has been using HP Tuners on GM cars), but if you have output from each in Excel format, that would be awesome for comparison.

Yeah, the injectors get maxed pretty quick for sure. I'm at a stage 2 and right about 6,000 rpm's + it will tag 98%... Not too good, but I'm going to have to do the whole deal with the fuel pump and injectors when I feel like burning gas really fast for that extra head room, lol.

what I notice on your data logs is that the full boost isn't reached until over 4500 RPMS! I wonder why? That some serious delay in spool up. I can't imagine the STI has that big of a difference in the turbo, but I would compare that figure to what it says you should be hitting peak boost when you're stock. The spool up time should decrease from there right?

Personally I've never seen any knock correction used when I logged on a Cobb map or a Perrin map. Even when getting on it right after the flash and quick Vishnu reset type deal. I certainly hope they sort out all the bugs for you man. I had issues with a Perrin map not hitting target boost and after 3 attempt with new maps and none of them working, I just flashed to the Cobb map. Honestly (from a WRX owner) the boost controller is junk when going over stock boost targets...
