Jakes good about it. He got me quite a few. Now its your turn. I got way too busy to keep providing free mapping. Back when I was tuning Jake, the same 3 or 4 people would constantly call, and I didnt mind at all.

Now my phones battery is dead in an hour

sorry ron. i'm out here hittin deeeze streets i promoise. gotta keep my pimp hand strong. i know where my bread gets buttered, big worm. i won't realese your map till i see him send your flow. i'm just trying to keep him running before he pops it.

i got held up yesterday trying to get a broken motor to work...i intended on passing out my "stacks" of phatbotti tuner cards but i didn't "ghetto" the meet.

anyway motors gotta come back out. very low compression in 1 & 3 and flashing check engine. didn't sound happy at start up. i'm very disappointed.

big up to jodie for coming to my rescue.

First of all, don't be callin' here like you some straight up G, cause I'll cut ya balls off and hand 'em to ya, patna. I had to warn you too many times about my money, Smokey. You see, it's the principal. There's principalities in the whole thing.

you playin' with my emotions...

Turbo's such as the 3076, rotated or not, have very little room after achieving full boost to make power.
I assume you're talking about an EJ205 and not an EJ207 - otherwise I'd have to disagree.

The hta68 was hyped up with all those dynojet results, and all the fanbois trying to justify their purchases, but you only have to check out the road dyno thread to see how crap the hta68 really is.

Even on a 2.5L running E70 it barely made 330whp - so on a 2.0L you can subtract from that figure - even a VF39 makes more whp, and that is a seen as a small turbo to most.

As for a GT3076R achieving full boost on a 2.0L - I don't have a problem hitting 24psi by 4500rpm on my 2.0L - and even on pump gas I make more whp on my 2.0L with my bolt-in GT3076R then a 2.5L does with the hta68 running on E70

And I'm running a very conservative tune (and I mean conservative - 10deg/10.8:1 at peak) and no race gas, meth or ethanol at all.

Leslie

P.S. What is a phatbotti tune?

Ah, makes sense now

I might start adding the tuner's to the road dyno list - get some good competition going

so bill and i put a video scope in the cylinders. looks like the exhaust valves in cyl 3 are not closing completely.

i'm trying to comprehend the fact that my motor has failed because i didn't rebuild the heads. that being said...the heads failed cause i didn't lap the valves?

wish i wasn't led to believe the heads were good to go.

50 hours of work for nothing.

no the valves are not closing all the way because of 2 possibilities ---either the exh. valves somehow got slightly bent or the valve lash in that cylinder is off(too tight) on the exh side.

i hear ya john. i have built heads before, but not this set. like i said i was told these were good to go. thats where my mistake lies.

now i have to start over...i probally have to replace the cosworth head gaskets that have 0 miles on em...

just a disappointment. my friend garth told me yesterday....cars usually disappoint.

one day soon this car will make me very happy.
