Cause karls cable flashed your last phat-one on no problem. We hooked up a meter and i get 5v no problem. I assume you only need 5v to read through RR and learning view. Out of pin 6 of the obd2 which is the 12v communication to the ecm i am not getting any voltage. So its sorta not working.

Lets see if tactrix will honor a warranty.

sorry i didn't get a chance to data log ron...i'll pull on her tomorrow. popped a couple p0000 codes?!?!?! check engine flashes randomly, but goes out. lil scary to see it but it goes off. i drove home from AC, like 60 miles, and didn't occur. i changed the fuel filter and it feels more responsive.

i don't think we data logged since i repaired the leaky STi top mount.

i'm probally gonna have to BUY a new tactrix so we can get this tuned before the end of the season.

i don't even want to borrow a tactrix cause they are so crappy, i don't want to break someone else's!

i bet in the fine print TACTRIX claims the 2.0 is good for 20 flashes...JUNK!

no one else makes something that works with ROM RIADER?

There's a $25 vag-com cable on eBay that people have gotten to work. I just ordered 4 of them to test em out

Cel flashing is misfires. P0000 is also something to do with misfires. I'm on my phone but if u google it im pretty sure the romraider thread will pop up

ebay catch cans.

i want to remove the line to the sight glass and put a third male adapter on there. plug the bottom line. i want to run the pcv valve to one side, the other side to the crank case vent. the center male adapter to the turbo inlet. the other catch can between the valve covers to the turbo inlet.

does it matter if i use the smaller turbo inlet hose bib or the bigger bibs?

any imput on the pcv configuration is appreciated.

from what i have gathered, not putting vacuum to the crank case and valve covers leaves back pressure on the rings, seals and oiling system.

installed dual catch can setup. pcv to tee at crank case vent to catch can to turbo inlet.
the other can is valve cover to tee to valve cover to catch can to turbo inlet.

works much better. no more hesistation on the pedal, although my header is still leaking...

pulling on it some more tonight.

put down 369/371 0n the airboy before i changed the pcv system.

400/400 is probally the limit for 30r 93 pump and sti top mount.

i have my scope set on the new gtx3076r wheel for my gt3076r housing.

52# to 65# in the same housing...baller!

You could have left that part out.

Everything else going smoothly now? What catch cans did you end up using?

370-375 is probably where she's gonna stay on pump for several reasons.

I dont think pushing cars on pump gas is smart or beneficial.

With all the gremlins your car has had i think its wise to stay on the "conservative" side.....if you can even call a 375whp 11 second car conservative.

And most importantly.....you need to just enjoy the car for a while without having to wrench on it.

its all good ron. i would have blown up and bought a honda long ago, if i had never met you!

gonna go pull "the car" in a bit.

i'm getting tired of fixing it, i'm ready to enjoy! maybe i'll make it to the track this weekend!

i still feel really anxious like it could pop at any time...

heard piston slap for the first time when we got down to 30*. i don't like that sound! goes away after a couple minutes. when i googled piston slap, all the videos sounded more like rod knock. mine sounds more like metal grinding/rubbing. it only does it ice cold and if i put a load on it while still cold. goes away after warm up, 10 minutes. doesn't do it simply at idle. gonna try and record the sound...

also after i first installed the pvc/catch can setup, when i started it , it was a hard start and i heard the bov blow off.
almost like it was stuck or something...

chris...ebay catch cans...21$ each shipped.

Dont do ti!! LOL, as much as they are fun to pop V-tec around town, I tuned a supercharged type r last night and was very dissapointed. Its only on 5 psi and is maybe a 14.60 car, if God is driving. I tuned an RSX with an intake and it pulled us by 2 cars... Stick with the Suby bro!

i think you misread my post mike. i should have said, i would have been out of the big power turbo 4 cylinder game, if i had not hooked up with phatbotti tuning. lets not forget that my open source tuning began with you, mikey.

if i would have blown up last year, i would have not had a choice but to by a daily driver...most likely a fuel efficient honda.

you guys and nasioc, not to mention many others, have made all my subaru dreams come true...well so far...

airboy'd. better results from e85?

i have to re weigh the car as well. we put it down as 3500lbs. that 3RD gear pull was on a full tank of 93* with 2 10 inch subs and enclosure/amps...la-di-da.

can't wait for atco to open so i can get a number that matters...APRIL?
