we haven't used the det cans yet. i listened to karls car with the knock threshold off and we pulled nicely without any change in the harmonics, i didn't hear anything that sounded bad. i wish i would have so i would know what i was listeninh for , but i could hear the valvetrain and the engine reving through the rpms very clearly.

i wish that was true juan, but i am now hearing that e85 is actually 106 octane where c16 is 116 octane. pretty big difference.

i think i'm gonna rock out on 93 for now and just run race gas when i fly down the runway...even though its 110$ to run and 5 gallons of c16....eeeekkkkk.

Regardless of the ocatne rating you will still make the same if not more power on true e85,1 because of the cooling effect(+1 for your tmic) and 2 because of the volume of fuel you will burn.Boost doesnt make power, the amount of fuel you can burn efficiently in the cylinder makes power. Why do you think top fuel cars make 8000 hp,because they can burn insane amounts of nitro in the cylinder during a run.

That's why I asked you if you have read the E85 faq, after I saw your 106oct comment I was

Everyone is ditching race gas for E85, the only street 8sec EVO in the world is running E85

i need to weigh the car to get an accurate airboy.

R/T tuning is having a dyno day march 26, its to raise funds for a kid who was in a bad accident. its 60$ for 3 pulls on the awdyno. be interesting to compare that with the airboy numbers. then we can line that up with my track times...

nothing like a dyno to inflate ones ego, unless your at akuma.

There's the reason you were looking for to get a controller.

All this E85 talk has me wanting new injectors. It's SCCA legal, unlike methanol injection, and I need to step up my game.

i was spinning in the burnout box, i dont think any of us bogged off the line. car hooked up to the track.

i dont know if i like spinning the rear tires a bit rather than trying to hook all 4 tires up...

i wonder if the p.r. cars run dccd. the videos i've seen looked like rwd burnout.

this will be back soon...

Jake get a dccd controller I recomend the spiider , it will change the way the car drives at wot, in a very good way!

E85 burns so much cooler (around 1400f) at wot , it would really be alot less stress on your motor for one thing and yes it would step the game up going around the track , E85+turbo=

Well..."less stress" is relative. Making 350whp daily or 400whp daily....the e85 may run cooler but 50whp extra daily can't really be classified as less stress.

Running 350whp e85 v 350whp 93oct, then the e85 could be called less stress due to the lower egts

50 hp more is still a lot less stress then pre-ignition.

Damn son that music festival is the best spring break around...you driving down jr? I need a vacation!

Full boost by 3800-4k but I do have a blown borla header...has to be welded or back to stock...tip in throttle is a lil delayed. I have a wierd stalling issue when I clutch in an actually put the tranny into gear the rpms fall out to almost 0. Stalls often. Not good at the tree. New 6 puck and LC...AND E85.

I need a sponsor or a job, one or the other...

Wherez my phatbotti vinyl wrap?
