jodie thinks i will most likely break a rear axle first. i have yet to break all four tires loose on a launch like i have seen jaime and junior do...

i guess i have yet to fully commit!

i have an act stage one organic clutch with streetlight flywheel on my 04 six speed.
You're going to need to launch it higher than 5k with a lw flywheel, gt30 and a little 2.0, especially on a sticky track. Don't even try to slip that clutch with that kind of power, once it starts slipping it will keep slipping all the way through 1st gear. One good clutch burning run and it's done for the night, it'll slip on the rest of the runs, that's how organics are. Sometimes they recover with lots of driving around.

Can't somebody put LC on it for you?

If not try reving it between 5k and 6k work the gas as fast as you can on and off to build boost. Once you see the boost come up a little, as the gas pedal is going down, sidestep the clutch. You might need even more rpm to get it to 60 foot, seriously.

It should go 115-120 if the motor stays together. Even with a good tune that saves the pistons, the rod bolts in a 2.0 like to break with that kind of power.

I think you'll spin the tires you're running before you break an axle.

GL, maybe I will try to make it out to atco to see it run someday.

yeah, agreed with the launch method. With my act 6puck I have lag off the line. I really have to get into the 6500-7000 side step, otherwise I get a bog. Gl I hope you break 11's.

I light all 4 up on a pretty often basis and havent broken anything.....yet. Anyway i found out that my new sweet spot launching with the new wheels is right around 4.5-5k.

It's really different for every car, but with lc, you generally wouldn't need to launch as high as you would without it since you're leaving the line under boost. It's more or less trial and error with setting lc and it'll be different on the track vs where you'll be testin it. Doing that via email will be a huge pain in the ass.

It takes 2 seconds to change the LC rpm with ecu flash once the LC patch is installed. Anyone can do it, just punch in the number.

Jake you should pull that 30r off and upgrade to an 18g. You'll only have 15 hp less and a better powerband.

I hope you weren't being sarcastic.. It will def be a faster car on 93.

That is what I said 370-380
This is exactly my point to Ron.. This 380 may trap around 115-116 due to the peaky power band, while the 330-340 whp car has already trapped 116-117 because of its nice power band. It will usually ET better because of the TQ curve.

Rear axles always break, the fronts hardly ever let go. Newb

Since when does jakes car have a peaky powerband? He's hitting 20 psi by 4k

And since when is it hard to stay in any powerband on a short geared 6 speed?

What year 6 speed is it? The shift to 5th is going to suck with a little stock 2.0 if it's the older one, it'll have a hard time recovering from that rpm drop.

I still think it can go high 11's at 115+ if the motor doesn't pop.
