That came out great Jake what did you use to polish it?

I was talking about the gray stuff on the bend at the bottom of the pipe.

Oh...I put this grey grease on the pipies to mark where I needed to "improve" my hood. worked...i now have clearance.

I used the 3m headlight restoration kit at advanced auto. Its 3 stages and a polisher. the first two stages i only did on the outside to remove scratches and hazing. 500-800-3000. But then I found a pretty tough layer of some sort of film on the inside of the lense that was coming off all spotty. I have to wonder if subaru put something on there to protect the lenses from heat or something. it looked bad. when I used the 3rd stage, wet sand, it took it off. I then polished the inside. That's what really made the difference. i had to hold the lense in one hand and hold the drill in the other in the light to see it, but for 18$ the kit was really good. Well considering lightwerks wanted to charge me 200$ to do the same thing.

I told jake to get an ap with real time tuning and have ray do it in person.
You don't wanna be starting a new motor and having to dial in the fueling with opensource and a hacked maf 16bit ecu with 1300's.
