Default new take on an e85 map

hey has anyone tried to make an E85 map for stock injectors? think economy mode, to use the super cheap fuel, but with no modifications to the fueling, i don't think you would max the injectors even at redline if you ran waste-gate pressure(7psi) and it seems like it would be really drivable with the extra torque from timing advance, anyone got my back here?

i am really interested in seeing someone do this, as i'll be putting a ton of miles on the car this summer and i think it would save a lot of dough.

you do know that E85 gets way worse gas mileage than normal E10 gasoline?

i know that the e85 guys are getting 80-90% of the same mileage as with gas...
yah you burn more of it since the stoic ratio is different but this isn't what i was asking about. the price savings outweighs the drop in mileage, plus the fact that i wouldn't be so tempted to floor it all the time would mean I would get much better mileage, i only get 18 around town in a stg 2 wrx, but i get almost 27 on the highway cruising...

you could try this..

take access tuner race... using the map you are currently running (unless you are pro-tuned...) zero out boost targets and waste gate duty cycle. scale your injectors accordingly (read the e85 stuff). this will work up to the point you run out of injectors (if you do) or fuel pump.

read the e85 sticky. its large but some folks just wanted to convert their car to run e85 and not necessarily for performance. you can probably pick up some pointers there.

I think you'll need a wideband. you can install as above, and starting doing 3rd gear pulls to say... 5000 rpm, look at your AFR and injector duty cycles. as long as those are within limits you can increase the rpms...

worse case is you run out of capacity around x rpm.. say 5000, just set your rpm limit to 5000. that gives you enough to drive 80 on the interstate and around town... at this point though you might just want to go out and find a used honda fit... (thats what i have for my economy driving)..
