New Vendor: PhatBotti Tuning TKR

We are pleased to announce that PhatBotti Tuning is now a certified vendor here on NASIOC. The name comes from Phatron and STi Mikey teaming up due to our enthusiasm for subarus. We don’t claim to know everything and we’re straight shooters. If we can’t get a part for you or can’t tune your car, we will hook you up with a vendor/shop/tuner that can. We’re not here to drain your bank account; we’re here to make a crap load of fast cars for a cheap price.

STi Mikey = Mike Botti, a mechanical engineer from Connecticut. Mikey currently holds the #4 spot on the Stock Turbo STi ¼ Mile Registry
4) Sti Mikey ..............07 STI.....12.010 @ 112.83
Mikey also holds the #3 spot on the Most Powerful Road Dyno list with his stock location AMR T60R on VP109 with 450whp.
ROAD DYNO LIST

Phatron (Fat Ron, no im not fat

) = Ron Watson, an aerospace engineer from California. Ron has been on nasioc since 2003. He currently owns a 2002 WRX and a 2006 STi. The STi is currently #2 on the Most Powerful Road Dyno list with a stock location Dom4XTR on 91 octane + methanol making an astonishing 470whp on a TMIC. The 2002 WRX is lightened to 2800 lbs, has a built 2.2L motor, 6 speed, and a Precision Turbo PT67 waiting to be installed.

Our main focus will be tuning subarus via opensource software. Since Mikey actually lives in a city with people, he will be tuning cars in person in the Tri-State area, doing email tunes and part sales. Since I live in a small town I will concentrating more on the email tunes and selling the parts. We both have full time jobs but will be working on teh nasioc interwebz from 6pm-midnight eastern time and 6pm-midnight pacific time.

We will announce pricing, parts, and sales in our very first group buy in the immediate future. Stay tuned!

Ron and myslef are doing this for fun really, its something we have always wanted to do.

mikey is a good and friendly guy to deal with..taught me a few things and answered a few questions when i met him and i didnt even have my car or a tune set up with him!!

he also is willing to give people ride in his own car so they can feel the mikey power bro!

hes so nice he even said i can drive his car this weekend

all in all you will be seeing big things from these guys and great reviews on customer service

Wow this is pretty awesome, mikey i kind of just lurk in your thread all the time, its full of useful knowledge about our ecu's between you and ron there is plenty of tuning tips and insight, Good luck and have fun, hmmmm maybe i'll let you tune my twinscroll monster!

motor should be done in a week or two and i'll finally get around to making a nice thread about my baby

this is great news.

im just throwing this out there. i have a heavily moddified wrx thats needs to be tunned. but no local dyno, If i were to get enough cars, would you be up for a trip and we will fly you down to the closest dyno to tune some cars???

Wow....we havent really discussed a trip such as that.

Honestly i wasnt expecting anything like that right off the bat.......i mean we've only had vendor status for 3 days....and havent even started a for sale thread yet

This is something I would love to look into. All we have to do is establish the number of cars, and the price of travel and stay. There can literally be a million and one options.

We can tune on a dyno, or the street. I have always perfered the street only because the load is true and your flowing fresh, outside air.

Dyno's do make the experience much easier though. So let me know buddy!

i might be in for this. If you can tune a nemesis. I live in the same city as capital j4, and know him quite well. Jed we could use gimli strip (as they have end part of the strip that runs for a couple miles). we would need like 10 guys though.
