FS...'92 Mustang LX Notch

Figured I'd give it a shot on this forum...My daily driver is an "04 WRX Wagon and it has been getting most if not all of my automotive attention recently. Therefore, my beloved Notch goes up for sale...

The car is a '92 5.0 5spd coupe with approximately(*) 123k miles and it is in excellent overall condition. It has a short list of mods:
BBK 1 5/8" long tube headers
BBK off-road X-pipe
Flowmaster cat-back
Hurst short throw shifter
fenderwell cold air intake(looks like BBK but unsure as it was on the car when I bought it)
Kenny Brown sub frame connectors

The rims pictured, I had powdercoated and new tires installed which have less than 500 miles on them.
The car has a clear title and an accident free carfax

The only problems:
The asterisk on the mileage is due to a broken speedo gear inside the tranny. The last accurate mileage on the carfax was 123k about two years before I bought the car. The owner before me was a collector and seldom drove it and I can say I have put less than 1000 miles on it since I have owned it(2006)
The rear main seal does leak a little as you will find with most mustangs with over 100k mi
Since I installed the headers/xpipe it will throw on the check engine light. I have the MIL eliminators which will be included if I have not already installed them.

don't do it man. that's gorgeous. My friend has an 93 black convertible all original.....even the spark plugs with 130k........i love those things

Thanks...I'd love to keep it but the reality is I just don't drive it that much. The car is too nice to just sit in the garage all year.

yeah people pay more for notches... to me there cool not worth the mark up though....fellow ex four eye fox body owner here

i have owned mustangs in the past...i doubt you'll be able to get 4000$ for it. sorry to say. does look nice but its stock motor stock tranny...i have seen 10 sec mustangs sell for 5000$.

good luck but if you wanna sell it your gonna have to come down some.

last mustang i had 5k in it and sold it for 2k.

In the market for notchbacks, they are typically found more desireable if they are stock. I agree that a notchback that has been modified and or hacked apart by some monkey would probably only go for 4 or 5k. My car is clean and simply modified. For now, the price remains...

i ment no offense. you are right about that...and i should also state if i waited for the right buyer i may have gotten more. i bought my subaru and like you couldn't drive two cars at once. the 4 cylinder turbo car had won my respect.

i don't doubt i will buy another notchback when my son gets old enough to drag race.
