Default Best 200 Tread wear tire?

So what tire would you guys recommend if the sanctioning body required a 200 or higher tread wear? Tire would have to work in autox and some lap's on the road course under 10.

I'd agree. except their treadwear is something 180 or 140.

I agree..now. I remember when they first came out they were 140, then 180 and I guess now 200. Looks like they're whatever marketing tells them to mark them.

Star Specs weren't 200 until they could pass whatever tests they run to figure that out, just like the other new tires in that category. 200 seems to be the magic number for street class tires in a lot of sanctioning bodies.

I'd probably go with the star specs, since most of the newer tires haven't achieved 200 yet, and the star specs are still one of the best.
