jsavage - fastwrx has great customer service, they should have alerted you, but they just merged with Ultimate Performance. They're still getting everything together, so i understand your frustration, but give it a couple. I'm local to the shop and they post in the regional forum all the time, so they keep up with the customers.

Thanks for all the other kind posts, but it's certainly fair for customers to be annoyed if it's been two weeks and there's absolutely no word. Given the large number of lame service providers on the web, I can understand if you'd think we might fall under that same category...

I promise this case is not our usual service level.

No, there customer service is not excellent. I ordered a kartboy STi shifter and brake fluid last week, and was suppossed to be here within 4-5 days. After waiting 5 days I called to let them know my parts didn't arrive, and they told me that brake fluid was on backorder, and they did not send out my shifter.

No one called to let me know that I was not going to recieve my parts on time or that they hadn't even been shipped out. Dan had no concern for my unhappiness and was glad to cancel my order.

I do INDEED have concern for your unhappiness! As I said, I am extremely sorry about what happened. Man, that is a really frustrating thing. For those who don't know, on July 4 some helpful soul took advantage of some kind of vBulletin weakness and wrecked our own Mach V Forums. I haven't been able to get them back up since then; we're working on it, and it's close to being ready, but as of now I can't get the old posts back up...it would be a brand new forum, clean slate, which is depressing. I'm trying to get the old stuff restored.

Whoever did it, you get the great big single digit salute from me.

I hope it'll be back in action within a week! We shall overcome!

I gave him another shot to complete my order. My parts were shipped to me within a few days, no more problems. They have a good website, good selection and competitive prices.

Hey dan...I am really mad!!! My Cusco sway bar got really dirty and I occasionally have to relude the bushings and endlinks....

I am not really mad but I just felt like being an ass...there service is great!

They got some neat stuff you can't get anywhere else like the Fossil WRX watch.. super slick. But they could stand to lower prices just a notch, then again I'm on west coast so shipping is a b!t(h from there.

Glad that the forums are back up (http://www.machvforums.com), it'd be great to see people visit and help build up the content again.

I've ordered many times from Dan (Machv / Fastwrx) and have always had excellent customer service and support. It's rare that they have the problems listed above, I've read many positive reviews abot them and can say first hand that they always try to make good for the customer.

Bump for a great vendor and cool shop.

Yeah, I love Mach V.

They are about a mile from my apartment. I dropped off a set of wheels in the morning on my way to work. Needed tires mounted and balanced on them.

I got off of work, swung by to see if they were done (they were busy that day) and the wheels were sitting there just waiting for me, all done.
