Don't you think it is time to take the following statement off the website it seems a little stale.

Note: The 2004 WRX has exterior changes from the 2002-03 models. Most of the exterior parts listed here will NOT fit the 2004+ WRX. We'll eventually have parts for the new model, but it will be several months.

Yes, and now all the NASIOC world knows of my web site inadequacies.

Fixed, thanks.

Dan is awesome! I've had great experiences with MachV.

Gotta love a business, who's owner comes to meets and shoots the breeze about everything from Japan to music and comic books.

Plus, Dan said my car had righteous torque three times on video so I could get a humorous clip.

Mach V has extremely good customer service but their prices are just way too high. They are the only local place in my area for WRX parts and I can get parts at least 20% cheaper shipped to my house then going and picking it up at Mach V.

I organised a group-buy for 10-12 Norwegian scooby enthusiasts in February, and we're still waiting for the items from fastwrx. I hardly ever receive any replies to my emails, and when I call them they just blame everyone else.

Hello Gunnar,

That quantity of those items is not on that shelf at this moment, but we could easily get them in a few days.

Since then I've sent them between 20-30 emails, last time I heard from them:

I have sent loads of emails since, but no reply. During the last couple of years I have never experienced such lack of service and feedback from any online scoobyparts store!

Of course fastwrx make sure to debit your creditcard immediately, even though parts are not in stock. They debited my card in early March!

My advice - make sure they have all parts in stock, if else you'd have to wait for ages and ages, and feeback is extremely bad.

Gunnar,

Your order was paid for by wire transfer, like all our international orders. We did not debit your card; you sent us money. You knew the parts were not in stock; I told you in advance we would have to get them. Also, I have explained that I don't seem to get all your e-mail messages, although I have gotten many of them.

I'm sorry it has taken a while to get your parts. We are still waiting on one of the parts. I will send you more information by e-mail.

By the way -- and this goes for anyone -- if you do not get a reply to e-mail, pick up the phone and call us! There are certain e-mail addresses that just don't seem to work well with our server and its spam filtration. Or we might miss an e-mail. Or we just might have 4,000 new e-mails that are offering dates 18-year-old farm girls, and we delete those and yours accidentally goes with it. We do try very hard to respond to each and every e-mail, but the nature of the medium means that we don't always see them all.

If it's urgent or your haven't been able to get us to respond by e-mail, please call.

Okay, maybe I'm fretting over this because I feel bad about Gunnar's order...

The conundrum with international orders is this: We can't take credit cards because of the risk of fraud. There's basically no way to ensure that it's really the card holder. So we demand payment by wire transfer, in advance. Of course, this means that it's the opposite of domestic orders, where we don't charge the customer until the order ships. With an international order, we have the money first, and THEN ship, which puts us in a bad spot if we run out of something and the supplier drops off the face of the earth...

With a large domestic order, we'd ship whatever pieces we have and then ship the rest whenever it gets in. But with international shipments, it can be $200 to ship even a small package, so you definitely want to get it all in one carton if you possibly can. Hence Gunnar's order being delayed by one last item.

Anyway, Gunnar, I know you're miffed about this. I'm sorry. We'll get everything worked out.

Someday soon, we shall have a good quality lip for the bugeye cars. Mach V staffer Will has a bugeye and has been pestering me for a good front lip choice.

Thanks all for the positive comments!
