Aside from their service and selection, there's something that many people don't know about Mach V. Their owner, Dan, is as practical as a damned screwdriver and dipenses advice based on user's desires rather than which sale will net him the greatest price point. While I don't mean to make Dan blush, for those of you that haven't exerienced the folks at Mach V, I consider myself to be damned lucky to have such a friendly and knowledgeable source of Subaru information in my area.

I have had the pleasure of emailing back and forth with Dan on a number of occasions about various subjects. I also know of his business practices through other shops who I trust implicitly. I'm telling you guys, he is one of the go to vendors on this site. If you're thinking of a part, and Mach V isn't in your top five list of vendors to check with then you're just dumb.

OK done deal. I ordered from them.

What I really liked is NOT having to join and be a "member" of the site. I just want to get in and out with my part.

Thanks for the reviews, that really helped!

Thats one thing I like about having a WRX, is the community-

Hey Dan:

I have the Prodrive urethane front lip on my 03 WRX... that'd be the WRX with the bashful STi driving light covers and the eighty-bajillion little yellow SWRT decals . And that lip is tough - it's been off the track at the road course a dozen times, taken lots of stone hits, etc... and it is still perfect. They don't come any more particular than me, and I give it a Canadian 'deux thumbs-up'.

Rob.

Dan is a walking encyclopedia of WRX knowledge. Ask him and he most likely knows - off the top of his head. He also STOCKS most product at his shop - what a novel idea.

When I was churning over either a WRX or STi license plate cover for my 'STi wagon' now that I'm out of Jersey he said and I quote

"Cop tires, Cop shocks, cop engine....."

Will and I were rolling on that one....

Chop saws are pure manly metal eating, strut cutting beasts. And I was privy to some sweet looking prototype parts.

Default Unhappy with service at fastwrx.com

Anyways heres the deal. I ordered an accessport for my 06 sti from fastwrx (mach v motorsports) . After a few days I get an email that they acknowledge they have recieved my payment but by the way they are not in stock and will take 2-3 weeks to ship. So I email them back saying I would like to cancel the order. No response to the email. I then call them and tell them to refund my money and they agree. A few days pass and I havent heard anything or recieved my payment back (I paid via paypal) so I call again. They say that the refund is processing and I will get it in a few days. Its now about a week later and no refund and I just got an email that says they SHIPPED it. I already ordered and recieved an accessport from IA performance ( who were awesome by the way) and now apparently I have another one on the way. Well thats the deal judge for yourself.

You're not getting an extra AccessPort; that notification was a mistake at our shipping counter. I've refunded your payment. I tried to call you about this, but I'm getting a "The customer is not accepting calls" message.

I've dealt with Mach V/FastWRX.com both online and in person since their shop isn't too far away and had great experiences. Dan is a standup guy and very friendly.

I'm actually going to one of their Dyno Days this weekend.

Josh is the BEST! I can be a pain when buying stuff cause I ask A LOT of questions, especially since I'm new to the Turbo community. Bought some HIDs and Springs and Josh took the time to answer ALL my questions on what I have bought and what I plan on buying soon. I look forward to buying many more parts from him in the future.

SUPER DOOPER A +++++++++++++ VENDOR, BEST BY FAR!

Dan IS the man!
UPS roughed up my lip, Dan had someone come and get it and sent me out a replacement lip not 2 minutes after I hung up with him about the issue. Got it next day air (eventhough it would have only taken 2 days for regular ground) but i had to have it next day to roll down to NOPI NATS this weekend! Looks awesome!
+1 for Dan and FastWRX.com

Mach V is a really great company. I have had nothing but great experiences from all of there staff. We should feel very lucky to have such a well rounded shop so close to all of us.

Absolutely the best vendor I have dealt with on NASIOC!

Took care of slow shipping to him by overnighting the parts to me as soon as he got them.

I ordered turboxs catless TBE Monday night after hours (about 6:30 P.M. central time). I got a confirmatin e-mail almost immediately and another e-mail that said that my order would ship tomorrow. I had my exhaust in hand on Thursday afternoon. I don't know how he does it for $5 shipping through fed-ex, but I have never had a better experience with ANYONE I have done business with over the interweb. I will definitely do business with IIR again.

Just bought some CUSCO rear LSD oil from Dan. I live in Canada and Dan had to source the stuff from Nukabe and get it to me... and he did, in 5 days !!! That might seem like a long time to some, but I live about two sniffs from the armpit of the Universe, and to me , that is EXCEPTIONAL service. I have bought several things from Dan, and it is always the same: fair price, great selection and unmatched service. Stop looking: spend your $$$ here.

Thanks Dan (even though you drive an Evo) .

Thumbs up Thanks to Dan.

I want to thank Dan at Mach V for going out of his way for me today. He was able to special order me a PE850CC injector clip from JAPAN (The little gray harness the wires clip into) because the plastic piece on my clip snapped and the wires wouldnt hold. This stupid little thing made my car pretty angry . Anyways I've contacted about 4 other venders and Dan was the only person who was able to place this order for me, and trust me folks this is a RARE order. This also happend to my friend so I may direct him towards Dan as well. Other venders simply took my info down and never contacted me back.

Thank you!!

Ps- Oh and boooooo to PowerEnterpriseUSA for asking me what a gray injector clip was, not knowing if a PE650CC clip can be used in place and directing me through distribution. Some other venders actually told me to contact PE USA trying to bounce me back.
