What do you have for your fuel system? Those torque numbers look sick!

He's running stock fueling according to his mods.

20psi on a TD04 only happens in the midrange. by the time you're at peak power, the turbo runs out of breath and naturally tapers down to lower boost.

Peak power is where you'll use the most fuel, so 16psi map... 20psi map... both will use the ~same amount of fuel at peak power, because they're both going to be well below peak boost at peak power.

In short, you have the fuel, just need the tuning to pick up that extra midrange torque.

Thanks

i agree that is pretty sick torque! A tuned stage 2 td04 is usually pretty impressive if it hits 250lbs of torque.

This is a normal amount of torque with 21 psi, he doesn't need any secret/extra mods to get there.

impressive torque

I was only able to get to 241/248 with similar mods on a 205 and that was on a Dynojet

We tuned his car a little on the conservative side and have since discovered some new tuning tricks to get more torque and power. Our racing program allows us to R&D on our own cars to make our customers cars even more powerful and reliable. We currently have a customer with an 03' Bugeye wagon making 325whp & 345wtq with a VF39 and 100oct fuel that he drives on the street and soon to be on the track as well!
