Default The 4th Annual Sonic Meet benefiting Make A Wish! April 25th @ Sonic, Morgantown, PA

Your favorite springtime event is back, and it'll be bigger and better than ever with great raffles, vendors, and more cars and people than we've ever had before. We will also have a DJ at the event playing music at a reasonable volume and helping us announce our amazing raffles throughout the day.

We already have 650+ RSVP'd on Facebook as Attending plus another 450+ Maybe's... and this is just from Facebook! The event has been posted on 40+ car forums and over 2000 flyers have been handed out as well... we're expecting an insane turnout this year with a huge variety of cars from all over the tri-state area and beyond.

All proceeds from the event are being donated to Make A Wish, please take a minute to visit their site here: www.makeawish.com
There will be many worthwhile and fun ways to donate at the event so please keep that in mind so we can raise as much money as possible.

*Donate by buying food at Sonic or merchandise from TST: A percentage of all sales from Sonic Drive-In during the meet will be donated to Make A Wish, as well as 25% of all TST Merchandise sales at the event.
*Donate by participating in the People's Choice Contest: Place a vote for your favorite car for each $1 donated, and you can vote as much as you want... the winner will receive a trophy and huge bragging rights until next year's event
*Donate by buying raffle tickets: Enter to win some incredible prizes we've managed to collect... we will announce these prizes soon so you can look forward to them.
*Donate by being on the lookout for the donation jars around the event to just drop a couple bucks in: it all adds up, especially with the number of people who will be at the event

Become a Fan of The 4th Annual Sonic Meet on Facebook
RSVP to The 4th Annual Sonic Meet on Facebook

We're still looking for sponsors for the event to make a donation and/or provide items to raffle off so if anyone reading this is interested or knows someone who might be, please email TheSonicMeet@TriStateTuners.com to talk about it. All proceeds are going to Make A Wish, and every little bit helps!

We hope everyone can make it, but for those who aren't able to you can still donate by mailing a check or via Paypal at TheSonicMeet@TriStateTuners.com

Please contact me at the above email address if you have any questions, suggestions, or interest in getting involved.
Looking forward to it, and hoping everyone comes out to enjoy the day with us.

Awesome, hope to see a ton of Subies there, just like in years past .
If NASIOC (and other Subie forums too?) guys want to organize a meeting point nearby the meet at say, 11:30am, and then all do a short caravan over to the meeting spot together at noon that would be the best way to try and all park together. It'd be awesome to arrange cars this way but logistically it will be impossible unless you all arrive at the same time and stick together. If someone wants to organize that it'd be awesome though, anyone want to step up to the plate?

And I should also mention that non-car-specific caravans have been set up from all over PA as well as NJ and NY... I can't link to those threads directly though as to respect NASIOC's rules, but I will try to get that caravan info up on our website, www.thesonicmeet.com soon to check out. The caravans are a lot of fun, and so far we have:

Lehigh Valley, PA Caravan
King of Prussia, PA Caravan
Exton, PA Caravan
Montgomeryville, PA Caravan
NE Philly / Langhorne, PA Caravan
New Jersey Caravan
Binghamton / Upstate New York Caravan

Anyone down for convoying up there from the Dulles area? I may be getting together with some people from another forum but no word yet. There are a few of us heading up Sunday morning.

Also, if anyone's in Frederick or Hagerstown, we'll be most likely stopping through there if you'd like to join a convoy.

**Edit: I just realized this was in the Tri-state area forum! Probably not many of people from those areas or mine, but we could always meet up along the way.**

Brock, if you want to post a caravan thread in the MAIC then you can try that, maybe check with a mod there first. I got permission from Paisan to post this here and didn't want to overstep my bounds, but I know there are plenty of people coming from your area to this event!

Just to let everyone know, the facebook group has 725 RSVP'd attending with another 500+ maybes... this isn't including the 30+ forums the event has been posted on or the 2000+ flyers that were handed out at the Philly Auto Show and beyond. Hope everyone is ready for a ridiculous meet with all kinds of awesomeness going on

We're gathering some great raffle prizes, and of course all proceeds from this event are going directly to Make A Wish!

Also, welcome to our newest event sponsor, Rockstar Energy Drink! They'll be on site sampling their newest flavors and have some Rockstar swag to hand out, and they're also providing us with a sweet raffle package of Rockstar clothing and other goodies. You can check them out more at www.rockstar69.com

Hey guys, less than 2 weeks to go. I'm going crazy over here finalizing everything, haha.

The numbers expected to attend keep growing (over 800 RSVP'd on Facebook alone now), and I hope everyone here is starting to get ready for the event and we see you out there.

Also we listed all of the awesome raffle prizes that will be at the event. You can buy tickets when you get there and hopefully win something badass! Check them on our site here: www.thesonicmeet.com

Think the cars will be segmented or is it just kind of going to be a mishmash? I'll be caravaning with a bunch of different cars (I think mainly honduhs ) but would prefer to be with subies while there haha

There isn't going to be any way to organize parking into groups of cars unfortunately, so if the Subies want to park together then I'd suggest finding a meeting spot nearby the actual meet and everyone can get together there and drive over together. If you pull in together, you'll be able to park in the same area.

I'm driving down from Pottsville, PA area with the g/f and her kids. The 8-year-old boy with the Go-Pro camera on his head is with me.
