Default Lexus IS 350C F-Sport Special Edition

Quote:
Pricing for Lexusí limited edition IS 350C F-Sport convertible has been revealed. At a base price of $58,375 (including a destination charge of $875), the car is priced $3,600 more than a fully-loaded IS 350C. The F-Sport modelís performance was raised with the help of parts taken from Lexusí F-Sport catalog. The model rides on new 19-inch forged aluminum wheels that are similar to those used on the IS-F. These wheels are wrapped in high-performance Michelin Pilot Sport rubber. A revised suspension supports new rolling stock.

The car has new springs that lower the car about one inch, while it also gets upgraded Bilstein shocks and new sway bars. The car also features an upgraded brake kit and a unique grille insert.

The IS 350C is available in Obsidian Black or Tungsten Pearl. All IS 350C F-Sport models get black leather seating with blue contrast stitching, heated and ventilated front seats, Bi-Xenon HID headlamps, and a hard-drive-based navigation system.

The F-sport logo can also been seen prominently on the unique embroidered floor mats, and the leather-wrapped shift knob. Emblems adorn the carís exterior.
The F-Sport convertibles are expected to arrive at dealerships later this month. But since only 100 examples will be made of this model, itís bound to run out pretty quickly.

The retractable hardtop is freaking awesome to watch in action. I was messing w/ one when my mom was buying her Rav on Sunday. It looks significantly better in person than the photos. Ridiculously nice interior, too. The one at the dealer was, surprisingly, a 6MT.

The price is sticker. We paid almost 20% less than sticker for our Lexus, too. I think it's pretty common if you're willing to take a vehicle off the lot, but not as well known as it is for brands like GM.

I think the 3 series looks ok, as does the SLK and SL class.

The damn thing looks like a Corolla convertible.

And why would I pay $58k for this when I could get a G37 convertible for $10k less?
