seeing that you have a 2.5i there are some things you should consider
1) you're not going to get a monster power upgrade if any upgrade from this cat-back due to the larger than ideal piping size. you should search for piping that's 2.25" if you want to do your engine a favor. the 2.5" pipe in the kit will give you good top end power but steal your low end torque off the line.
2) if you're looking for just a sound change then just look into an axle-back, it'll be cheaper and easier to install.

What would be a good exhaust suggestion?

Custom? Get the exact diameter you want and it's cheaper than pre-fab.

Have you ever ran a 2.5" O.D exhaust on your car or any N/A car for that matter???

TO the OP I have a 2.5" Magnaflow system on my 2008 Legacy 2.5i there has been no loss in low end power what so ever. It is free flowing so my top end appreciates that. For all the people labeling 2.5" exhausts as detrimental to our engine RUN ONE FIRST and stop repeating what some cynic wrote

AVO makes quality goods you wont go wrong from that aspect and the sound wont be that bod because it has to go thru two cats and the resonator in the AVO mid pipe before it reaches the mufflers. My magnaflow didnt have a resonator in it and it was too loud for me but I also have borla replica headers and a custom catpipe this system will look nice on your 2.5i and it will not bring about the demise of your car.

Also the point about prefab being $$$ is true I got my headers cut and spaced to fit ( thanks crappy replica vendors) catpipe, midpipe, and axleback fabbed for $300 at a shop near my office ( SW VA)
