Not much?

The VF34 just doesn't flow much air. 280whp maybe on a mustang on pump.

Definitely faster spool. BB will do that. Along with the 2.5L sb.

That's assuming it's not a complete heart breaker. On my 2.0L on a dyno dynamics made 265 on pump with a 68hta. 342 on E85 at 29psi. All depends on the dyno.

We can not POSSIBLY answer this question. Call your tuner, and see what similar setups put down on his dyno. His guess will be the closest of all.

Without being too conservative or ambitious, I'd say 275/290 would be a realistic goal on that dyno.

More importantly, that's a solid 12-second car with a decent driver.
And at the same time, it's enough to make your transmission VERY angry. Ask mine what happens when you throw that much quick-spooling torque at it

ok sounds good to me. i definitely want to lean more towards a conservative tune to keep everything nice and reliable plus ill be doing some rally x and i dont want to much power. but that quick torque is gonna be awesome. is there a turbo that spools faster than the vf34 with not so much lag? im not lookin for somethin huge. just that fast quick boost. also i have decided to put cp cylinders instead of the winseco's and crawford head gaskets instead of sti ones. my tuner said ill have to break in the motor for like 1000 miles so when i can open it up and have a good tune on it ill post up some dynos

You could probably spool a monster td04 faster, but it will die out even quicker. It really depends on what you want. I like having the widest powerband possible, it just seems that if your running a td04, vf39/34, 18g and up you get the same powerband (3000rpm or so) it just shifts farther to the right the larger you go.

If you want something with instantaneous boost, I think the vf34 is a great turbo for you. With the 2.5 it should spool insanely quick and should hold the power up to 5500 or so.

If a VF34 doesn't spool fast enough for you then I think you should sell the car and get a Camaro.
