Default EBC YellowStuff/Bluestuff for free w/NASA or SCCA membership

I'm sure some of you will laugh at the thought of using these pads on your track/race car, but for anyone that is interested:

If you are an scca/nasa member and want free yellowstuff or bluestuff pads, go to their website and do a search for Sponsored Racer Sign Up and fill out the form.

I did about a month ago and did actually receive the pads . They claim it's only for the first 500 drivers, but they have been running the ad in SportsCar for at least two issues now, so either there is no interest, or they forgot how to count to 500 in our advantage.

I see SCCA membership is like $85, can you be more specific about NASA? What is their website and how much is it to join?

Yea if they are roughly the same as the HP+'s
then they will be just fine for me on the track since I only have 150ish chp and my car only weighs 2800lbs. Plus having non stockish pads on the rear should be nice as well!

So before I do this - can anyone suggest whether to get yellow or bluestuff pads? From EBC's website, it sounds like bluestuff are better track pads especially for heavier cars like my WRX.

Also, I'm still unable to find the NASA page.. can someone link me? Thanks

If the process goes the same as it did when I did it, initially you should get an email response asking for a pic of your membership card. Once you send that in then you should get a response that should verify you selected the right pads for your car. After that the pads should show up at your front doorstep!

Cool, awaiting my initial email. The pad part #'s didn't make much sense, so glad there will be a confirmation on that haha.

This link should help match up the proper EBC pad to your car (including aftermarket calipers).

Those don't have part #'s for Bluestuff. And the number for Yellowstuff front comes up as a Mustang on a different list. I think I finally figured out the right #'s though.

I got some weeks ago from that offer and put on just the fronts with new DBA4000 rotors and I love them, best brake combo I have used yet. STI brembos, ebc yellowstuff pads and goodridge ss lines and dba4000 slotted rotors.

I have Yellowstuffs front and rear on mine with Goodrige SS lines, Willwood 6 pot front and 4 pot rear calipers. I also like them much more than the COBALT pads I was using.

Nice! I chose DP41661R and DP41687R (rear) based on the Excel sheet. I hope that's right. There were at least two different shaped rear pads in MY03. I think mine are the earlier ones? My car was manufactured in July of '02.
