Call Borg, their tech people will either know, or at least be able to find out.

Re-reading the EFR Tech brief they say mount the turbo as level as possible longitudinally and avoid to much nose up or nose down attitude. It sounds like they only tested it in the horizontal position so I guess its up to you to push it on the angle and report back when oil starts getting past the seals. "The bearing housing oil drain should be pointed straight downward where possible, and at most 20 degrees tilted right or left. When routing the oil drain line, try to keep it running downhill all the time and avoid horizontal spots or sharp bends. The oil should drain to the block or pan in a low pressure region above the level of the oil bath. It is not recommended to install the turbo considerably nose-up or nose-down. It was validation tested to be installed “flat” with respect to the ground." ==> from EFR tech brief You're aware that the WRC turbo in question that mounts almost vertically cost about as much as a new Subaru if not more. I wouldn't expect to find many other turbos that would like that position. |

That WRC turbo is also replaced after every race, as it is also fed anti-lag. At least that's what a WRC tech told me when looking over the car.

My tuner claims he had one on the dyno, nose up at 20 degrees an it was leaky, the other ones were under 15 degrees and held fine, so from first hand I don't recommend more than 15 degrees

Can any of the vendors supply me with v-band flange and clamp x 2 for my two EFR6258 turbo's. My email is tony.dobnik@gmail.com . Sorry to be off topic but am desperate for the supply of these parts as they are stopping me from having my car up and running
. My postage address is 38 Bathurst Rd Orange NSW 2800 Australia. Locally I have had nothing but run around with no results and one US supplier after a week of emailing has told me two week wait as out of stock.Hope someone can help. Cheers, Tony |

Well that sucks. I guess I would wait for those and just grab the crappy one from Borg Warner which you can buy from full race or any other BW dealer, if you need it now. The one from BW will likely last one or two times taking the turbo off before you turn the threads into mush.

I've been told that in a future update they will implement cruise control and currently the inputs are there in the ECU when that becomes functional. The car still has A/C. |

They used to sell an adapter harness but not anymore since they have the PnP replacent board options. Now its either replacement board or full wire-in.
I have some pics of the adapter harness in my build thread if you want to check it out. |
