Yeah was wondering how much psi I am running with a stage 1 ap? Now don't know how to read my oem boost gauge for 2004 subaru wrx. It pretty much hits the like before .05 bar. And I was told 1 bar equal around 14 psi? Sorry I'm a newbie. Oh yeah I just bought an hks bov version 2 and heard it makes me run lean even with an accessport. Is this true???

BOV makes you run lean when you let off a significant amount of throttle, till pressure equalizes between manifold and intercooler. no there is no way to tune this out, you must either get an open source MAP(manifold absolute pressure) tune, or get a blow thru MAF to fix this. you mean .5 bar? yes 1 bar is 14 you should be seeing around 16 or 1.2

boost leak is the right term. But there could be many problems. You could have an exhaust leak that is preventing you from getting enough exhaust flow, or you could have a problem with your tune or mods and the cars IAM is low, forcing you to run WG pressure. Go out and check the cars IAM with your AP.

If it is anything but 16, and you didnt reset the ecu recently, there is a problem.

what are all of your mods if any?

check and make sure you don't have an exhaust leak you should hear/see it if you put hte car up and look around.

Ight when I bought this car it was missing bolts for the exhaust. And my rod bearing went so I bought a new short block and Perry told me they would replace the missing bolts for me. They might not have replaced them and that could be causing it huh? Cuz I do remember there was a bolt missing from where the downpipe is connecting. Now what if the exhaust is good what might you think it might be? My bro thinks its my turbo if there no boost leak? Could it?
