Default my dropping and jumping idle: video inside

http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v646/slayers_x/?action=view&current=idle_031410.flv
2005 subaru impreza 2.5rs 4eat
drive by wire
150,0xx miles on it
engine mods: injen cai, grounding kit, STi axleback

basically the video is my problem
this only happens when at a standstill in drive.
i replace spark plugs/wires/clean maf/changed fuel filter/battery/pcv valve.
it never through a cel code whatsoever
bought brand new

i was thinking possible vacuum leak?
i did a vacuum leak test on my car and it was leaking through my purge solenoid/hoses i replace the hoses on it and the problem is still there.
i tried spraying brake cleaner around my intake manifold but didn't hear anything or change the idle.
is it possible o2 sensor?
last resort/worse case could it be timing belt/valvetrain?

I just did timing service as well as plugs, wires, and valve cover gaskets and when i was finished it ran good. When i was driving home, it ran good at speed but on decel to a stop would stall. The idle was real low, similar to yours. After a day or so it relearned and has been fine since. I contributed my issue to ECU reset and relearning the idle for a lightweight crank pulley and TBS.

resetting the ECU was the first thing i tried. it's actually within acceptable idling range it's just jumps up and down and when it jumps down it feels like it's going to stall. it's just getting annoying now.

your lights dim just before the ecu kicks up the idle. hmmm

you said this only happens at idle, so that may rule out the o2 sensor.

this only happens at a standstill in drive, what about a standstill in neutral?

it's SEEMS to be slightly better in neutral. but doesn't make too much difference at all.

hey i have the same problem but mine actually dips slightly lower than yours and when it is idling my car vibrates quiet a bit then idles normally then starts to vibrate again. 05rs..injen grounding kit catback exhaust. id like to hear a solution for this. and is there something i could do to prevent it from dimming once the idle picks up?

i'm running out of ideas
i'm thinking o2 sensor/timing/ worse case some kind of valve
but i got my friend to tactrix my car and its showing that i have a vacuum leak
i was thinking replacing the throttle body gasket and maybe the egr valve gasket while i'm at it. i'm looking at the vacuum hoses and it doesn't show and tears/cracks/holes in them.
any other ideas where vacuum leaks can occur?

If you want to see if it is the front o2, unplug the front o2, start the car, and see if the problem goes away.

I had the same kind of issue at idle on my RS. It was the front o2 in my case.
