Default ap lanch control question

im sure im not the first to ask this but im so confused trying to do this. cant seem to get a straight answer. i have the v2 and am looking to hook the lanch controller up with a button. can someone give me a basic route to hooking up the launch control first and foremost and then how to rig it to a button?

car is an 07 sti and has a protune already if that means anything
