Mixed reviews on this. It works, but guys with nice wheels refuse to touch it as they think the residue damages the clear coat.

You can do that with any wheel protectant. Michelin made one. I'd like to see a video where they drive the car around for 45 minutes until the wheels are heated up and run the same test. I would bet the results would be a lot less dramatic.

Applying wax to the wheels will have the same effect. There are waxes made for wheels as well.

Ya but did you see how much of the can he needed/used? What does it cost per can and it lasts a couple of weeks?

By hand it's not to bad may be 5-10 mins a wheel and a lot cheaper.

I wonder how good they are against brake components?! yes it can be a good repellent from dirt but i believe we have to repeatly use them (at least apply couple times a year?!) and god, i rather just wash my rims...lol

It's the initial cleaning that takes time. Once you get your wheels the way you want them, a good all in one sealant like Klasse AIO will take you maybe 5 minutes per wheel tops and then you're good for 6 months. Makes it a breeze to wash during that time. If the wheel is new and you do this before the initial mount (I seal inside and out) you never have to worry about having to scrub at brake dust again.

I've heard very bad things about armorall products tho - the cleaning products (ie. wipes) has chemicals that would eat away at your dash or something like that. *shrugs*.
