I've never been a fan of that rear bumper, hopefully the finished product will bring it all together. Color looks good with the wheels.

Ever thought about doing 04/05 tails?

The bumper's not quite done yet. We need to matte black out the center area and you don't think it'd be too much red?

Yeah, it took me long enough, lol. I'm going to probably end up running 10mm spacers on my setup still.

yea it should look better with the center matte black. I actually think the 04/05 tails would add a nice contrast to the rear end, maybe smoke the clear part for a more balanced look?

Yes.

If you're going to smoke lights anyway, the 04-05 lights usually have a cleaner look - less busy, and there's enough going on with the back of that car as it is.

I remember looking at this a while back and never thought it would have turned into this...

Manny this thing is crazy bro, congratz on the sick car.. Hope it turns out to everything you want it to..

I think the rear tails with the rear fog like the edm ones would be badass, or maybe 04-05 tails? I dont think smoked tails would really fit the car.. Just my opinion though.. Good luck with everything!

04-05 tails... Tinting, edms, etc the 06 is just a band-aid for an ugly tailight imo.

Props on all the legit parts bro. Varis, ARC, Cosworth aren't easy parts to come by.

I have to agree with the post about it looking like a ricey civic though.

To me, the Varis kit has a serious time attack look to it. If you're looking to really do those body lines justice, continue that theme throughout the car. The color is a great one for a show car, but make sure you keep the rest of the car all business. It's a fine line to tread between being taken seriously and being laughed at when you've got this much invested.

Obviously the car has been done the way you like it and I've got nothing but respect for that. One thing I could suggest though... brakes! You're rotated, building the motor, throwing enormous 10" wide wheels on it and still have the factory 4pots. Good luck slowing that freight train down. Endless, Project Mu, Alcon, Brembo... all wonderful choices.

Keep up the good work and keep us updated!

Why didn't you shave the holes on your trunk?

K, sorry guys, I've been busy taking care of getting things in order to send the car down to Japtrix, which would be happening tomorrow. Here are some up to date pics.... ALSO, I will be running 10mm hubcentric spacers in the rear and 5mm in the front to make things flush. Also, I'm not feeling the Varis GT wing anymore with all the green and plan on going with a Do-Luck / Do-Luck style carbon trunk to complete the look / clean things up. Imo, the wing is not wide enough for how wide my kit is / the new color, so I'm probably going to throw it on my DD bugeye, ^_^. (Keep an eye out for that project coming soon)

BTW, this is the reason I've been so busy too, lol:

His name is Kuma, which is Japanese for bear. It is also a reference to the Team Orange driver Kumakubo. Ironically enough, I chose his name because the day that we got him, was also the same day that the earthquake / tsunami unfortunately hit Japan. He is a 9 week old male Red Merle Australian Shepherd who's eyes are a split of blue. =).

THANK YOU for the feedback, I'm still unsure what I'm going to do yet, but 04-05's seem to have it for now, lol.

See, that's what I've been wanting out of the build once complete, a clean looking, aggressive, loud (looking), and functional vehicle. I'm probably offing the wing and going w/ a carbon trunk with built in lip to clean up the loud looking rear.

I sincerely appreciate it and am glad you're enjoying it as well. I look forward to contributing more as things progress, .

I've always planned on getting rid of the stock trunk for a carbon one, so it wasn't a concern @ the time.

nice job, defiently have to say that the tails are killing it though as stated by others. also like you said get the cf trunk and some wheel spacers, also cant tell if your on coils or not but you need to drop it alot more. way too much wheel gap.

Yuppers, I'm on Teins, however, it hasn't been lowered yet, since we didn't want it slammed for when it was going on the dyno to get it's base tune and then after as well. I'm waiting to break in the motor / get the final tune before we actually lower her / slap on the bumpers / diffusers. I won't lie, I would probably cry if I had to watch her drive onto the dyno and have something like my Varis bumper or diffuser shattered / ripped off, lol. The wait time on those things is no joke, and after everything that's happened overseas, I'm not taking any chances with my luck.

looks good! I think you need kick the rear wheels out some and it should finish off the look nicely. I wish I was able to see the car in person when I was in Florida.
