I think it looks better than most, but worst than some.

You think it's gonna be a problem for the air cooled precision turbo? Should I put a heat chimney in? If so, would it be bad in the rain with it funneling rain over the center cartridge?

It seems pretty sturdy without the back support. Maybe I'll just leave it. The back support is a pipe clamp with a bracket that connects the shield to the wrapped pipe.

I can't really tell you if it's going to be a problem because I don't know if you are going to be fisting your car, what kind of venting do you currently have. To be ever so blunt, how it is set-up now I would feel comfortable beating the sh** out of it on a 20min. HPDE session with a cool down lap. However that's just me, but I think you should be good.

And I wouldn't want nice cool water touching my glowing white turbo, but again that's just me.

Do you have any concerns that the intercooler piping above the alternator will interfere with the hood? I am planning on rebuilding my intercooler piping this winter and really want to flip the intake mani. I really would like to do it like you did so I can keep my AC. What is angle coupler are you using from the tb?

So what do you guys do about the huge connectors on the wiring harness. I kinda dropped them from Point A to where it is now laying under the intake pipe. Then I kinda just bunched up the rest next to the PS reservoir. I'm sure there is a cleaner way, but what is it?

^^^ You will be just fine. My setup is closely similar, but all of my exhaust is coated and thermal tape is everywhere. If it is easy for you to do I would just wrap those wires with gold thermal tape or a fire sleeve just for peace of mind. You don't have to, its just cheap insurance.

Yeah thats how my engine harness looks. I wrapped some heat tape around them. It sucks how it looks, but you can't really see it because is under the intake. I also hate the break lines by the turbo. My turbo actually touches one of the lines.

Re did the valve cover breather and crank case vent plumbing. Looks neater than the stock setup:

I believe he is TMIC not positive though.

But I do like how you incorporated the 90 barbs to keep the hose down. Might have to modify mine.

I guess I will help this thread out with my progress. Still need to build IC piping and waiting for some Tigwerks goodies to finish all my Fitting.

Does anyone remember a member way back on IWSTI that used to make custom hard lines for the crankcase and breathers? I can't find the thread any more, but at the time I thought it looked pretty cool. I don't recall what type of tubing was used. If I find it, I'll post it up.

Awesome.
It seems to me like a lot of the BRZ turbo headers are positioned this way.

Neither. I dont have any pictures of the radiator after it was modified, here is a picture of the modified bumper beam and radiator. It is a ebay radiator, application is Jeep Cherokee with the 4.0 inline 6 cyl. I cut the changed the inlet/outlet to the sides of the tanks and blocked the other ports on the endtanks. Works great so far(I live in Phoenix).

And mocking up the bumper skin.
