Default How we make stuff. Battery Tie Downs

At Kartboy we make almost everything in house What better way to kickoff this new forum than to SHOW you how we make some of our parts.

First off we'll show you how we machine the Battery Tie Downs.
Machine is a HAAS VF2 with two KURT vises.

Part four of the Battery Tie Downs.
Once they are all machined they have burrs and rough edges. A few hours in the deburring tumbler and they are all nice and smooth. next stop is our local plate shop. Finally packaging and off to you.

And can be purchased at www.kartboy.com

No worries. It was posted in OT. I don't go in there much. I tried f or a year to keep up with them and my brain hurt.

I though IC's post was harsh, but seeing how all of his other posts are conductive, I figured there was some underlying joke.

Thanks for the vids Tom. That is cool. What kind of stuff do you make with that machine that you don't sell?? Just curious.

We do a lot of aerospace composite molds for the military. Along with a host of really random and odd parts that no one else wants to do.

Unfortunately we have NDA's on all those parts so i cant take any pix.

You should upgrade that VF2 to a VF39, might spool a bit slower but the top end power will more than make up for it

Tom,

Awesome vids, you realize now you've set the bar high. What videos can we expect next time on Kartboy's How We Make Stuff? I vote for monthly episodes.
