Question Ac and heat no longer working as well as interior lighting? 2000 impreza rs

Hey guys!
Im new to NASIOC as well as to being a subaru owner. I have recently got my two first impreza's and im in love! My only issues thusfar have been

2000 Impreza RS 2.5 - 103,000 Miles Manual Transmission
  • Heat and AC do not work at all?
  • My dome light as well as Map lights do not work at all.
Other than that my Impreza has been absolutely amazing. We have so far replaced the following -
  • ACT Stage 3 Clutch Kit
  • OEM Flywheel
  • All gaskets and seals, as well as all the fluids.
  • Unorthodox Lightweight Pulley Kit
  • Apexi N1 exhaust from cat back.
I have so far checked the Blower motor as well as the Blower Motor Relay both check out good with a test light. I have checked the fuses as well as all the relays under the hood. This has been a very confusing situation as ive checked pretty much everything.

What are some thoughts as to what could be causing these issues? Id love to figure it out soon as its getting pretty cold here of the mornings

Three fuses involved in the fusebox (the one in the car): #1, #2, and #17. You have the blower motor, blower motor relay, blower motor resistor, and the fan switch for component checks. Then, you have wiring checks, including ground off the fan switch.

Key on, fan switch off, you should have power at three terminals at the blower relay: #1 (Green/Orange wire), #2 (Red/White wire), and #3 (Green/Red wire). When you turn the fan switch ON (any speed) terminal #3 should lose power (goes to ground) and terminal #4 (Black/Red wire) should go to 12v. Start there, tell me what you get, and I'll know where to send you next.

well im not getting any power at any of the switches on any setting at all, one thing that stumps me is when i originally got the car the dash gauges where replaced with some aftermarket Glow gauges with a color selection switch, its fused in with the illumination fuse on the board. Would an improper wireing cause any issues?

Four checks at the relay. Then we go from there.

Worry about your blower motor first. The illumination circuit is another issue, unless the aftermarket stuff was totally hacked in.
