Here's some misc pictures from my custom AWIC setup in my Legacy. Not your normal setup, but works very well.

I posted these in the custom rotated turbo thread too.

My FMIC uses 3" piping from the compressor outlet to the throttle body, and a Garrett 24x12x3.5" IC core rated to 900hp.

The old stock WRX intercooler just wasn't cutting it anymore, so it was time for something better. With this setup I can add ice to cool the intake air below ambient. Colder intake air and less pressure drop across the intercooler = MORE POWER!

The core is from Frozenboost.com and is advertised at .1 psi pressure drop at 700 cfm. Should make for a fun setup for the autoX car.

That's pretty clever!^

That's a weird intercooler too; it doesn't look effective, but I know it is.

Here is mine finished.

This picture was taken during fabrication. I didn't have the actual wiggins clamps (was just using ebay knock offs) nor did I have the cosworth intake manifold.

I have since went blowthrough, and relocated the BOV to the hotside charge pipe.
The place where the BOV is in this picture now has an IAT sensor fitted, so my PowerFC can retard the ignition when the intake temperature goes up to high.

haha yeah I did post in there - my turbo setup is fairly unique, or as I like to think of it rotated 180 degrees haha...Although I am noticing a few other members doing the same now
