Event: quarter mile
Location: Raceway Park, Englishtown New Jersey Ambient Temp: 68 Elevation: Weather: Sunny, Dry Track and Conditions: Concrete, poor track prep Tires: Pirelli, PZero Nero, 215 Car: 2006 WRX TR 2.5L Tuner: Cleo Dyno Info: DynoJet Peak HP at RPM: 293.82 @ 5800 Uncorrected Peak Torque at RPM: 322.08 @ 3400 Uncorrected Baseline hp/tq for a stock 2006 STI on same dyno: 235/250 Max Boost: 17.67 Target AFR: 11.2 Fuel: 93 Pump Unleaded Engine/Power Modifications: STI Top Mount, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, Blouch Evo 3 16g, 3" invidia v3 downpipe, 3" srs catback -Stock 550cc Injectors -Stock Airbox So I went to Raceway park last Wednesday to run the WRX with the new turbo. I made 4 passes, I did 13.1 @106, 13.9 @ 105(no launch), 13.1 @ 107, and the last run was 12.8 @ 108...the launches were done by slipping the clutch at 5500 rpm. I used my friends vbox to record shift time data and 0-60, 0-100 etc. On the 12.8 pass i did 0-60 in 4.27 seconds, and shift times were all .190, with me finishing the pass at the top of 4th gear...anyways heres the timeslip, and let me know if people making this kind of power should do better or if this is about right...Thanks! ![]() Heres the dyno sheet, 293 whp, 322 wtq ![]()

OP, you're missing the 2nd part of the required format. It'd be appreciated if you'd add in the info for the car, tuning, power numbers, and modifications. Thanks.

How am I crazy? I've done it. My old 18g car set the record years ago and that was proven
![]() The evo3 16g is pretty much an 18g....just better. |

You need more injector to run some real boost, those times are decent but pushing the stock turbo will net you similar times.

Why are people surprised by a 16G Evo III running 11.8?
2.0 has a better powerband for drag than 2.5. Bugeyes are lighter. CoolRex can definitely drive. People who can drive are posting 12.1x slips on a vf39. CoolRex driving a 16G Evo III to 11.8 is definitely not something that is out of the realm of possibility. |
