Default Nerf guns, who still plays with them?

I'll admit, @ 34, I'm a bit "outside" the target demographic for Nerf guns, but really, who doesn't love shooting workmates, loved ones, etc with foam darts? My excuse is that I have an 8yr old, and these are *supposed* to be for him. Yeah right

Send your wife my way. I'll nerf her, since you're obviously not up to the task.*

I'm 24 and my 23 year old buddy bought 2 last week and had a war in my living room with my roommate as well. I got the laser one and he got the blue one with the drum clip and my roommate has a double barrel. The gf even bought her own if she needs to regulate lol.

My excuse is my gf's 4 year old who bought one just before we did.

They're awesome and all parts are interchangeable. The shotty's the best cause the shells eject when you crack it open for a reload.

It's also not a "NERF" gun

Can you recommend anything? Is there something I can get away with having in my office desk drawer?

Depends on how big your drawer is, I guess. But the revolver pistol is good and inexpensive and fits in a drawer.

This one:

This one is also pretty fun and kinda P90-ish, but might not fit in a desk drawer.

I have 2 of these at home. Discontinued in 1995. Apparently they're super rare.

First nerf gun to shoot 2 types of bullets. It had the foot long arrows that were awesome.

most standard-ish guns have similar restrictor setups.

the one that leaves welts is an older, blue nite finder. they came with ridiculously strong springs. with the restriction gone, my friends duck behind things when i bring it out.

If you're looking for Nerf guns on the cheap, make sure to check Craigslist! Just scored a kids entire collection for $25!!

1 Vulcan EbF 25 (battery powered, belt fed machine gun!)
1 Longshot (Sniper Rifle)
1 Firefly
1 Buzzsaw (Ball launcher)
1 Recon CS6 (The yellow one in the pics above)
1 Nerf Pistol

Came with all the clips/ammo etc plus they were all in perfect shape. Not even scratched up!

I bust caps at the cat and dog with this. If either of them catch the dart though, it's toast in like 5 seconds.

I've probably had the most fun with these:

http://www.hasbro.com/nerf/n-strike/...713&src=endeca

They have more than enough range for ****ing around in the house. Last time I brought these out my friends and I got drunk and started making forts out of a couch.
