Default MOBIL 0w-30 oil Temperature Question

HELLO ALL,

A quick question about the older 0w-30 tri-synthetic... I am running out all of this stuff so I can put the new Supersyn 5w-30 and 10w-30... but anyways...

Under what engine temperatures will the oil flow at 0 weight properties on the MOBIL1 tri-syn??? Do you think it will remain 0 weight at 290-310F? I am quite confused about the 0w-30 flow properties....

I don't know too much about the physical properties, but just the thought of running a 0w-xx oil in my car scares me!

It seems like it's just too light to be doing anything "protective" in my engine.
