Default Any way to tune a WRX on a 2-wheel dyno?

No AWD dyno here in Oahu (Hawaii). Any other way I can do this?

If you have a good tuner, probably you can tune on street with tuner programming ECU in the passenger seat.
Real A/F meter (not cheap guage that's not accurate enough) and possibly EGT and long safe road is required.

Vishnu Performance has a center diff replacement that converts the car to a front wheel drive. That's how they have been doing all their dyno tuning over at Mustang Ranch.

I think there's contact info on their website. They should be able to help ya out. www.vishnuperformance.com

Default Thanks.

Yeah,
I saw a thread about someone reviewing the Vishnu Stage 1 that was FWD temporarily, but didn't know if he had a stick or an automatic. Thanks for the info.

You know I emailed Dynojet Hawaii about getting a AWD dyno in Hawaii. They said it wasn't feasible after "cruntching the numbers"

But they did offer to have the center diff modified to convert it to 2WD. Saying that they had many eclipse's that come in to do that.

Default Hmmm

I asked Ed about it last night and he didn't know how to do it. I'd be interested in details if anyone has them.
