The really rugged one filled with climbers who are snappy dressers and have decent quantities of disposable income.

This name was chosen because the north face of a mountain in the northern hemisphere is generally the most difficult face to climb.

We are named for the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain. We have helped explorers reach the most unfathomable heights of the Himalayas. But The North Face legend begins, ironically, on a beach. More precisely, San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood, at an altitude of only 150 feet above sea level. It was here in 1966 that two hiking enthusiasts resolved to follow their passions and founded a small mountaineering retail store.
it appears after no particular mountain at all..... I'll confirm with customer service.

Side question.

I'm looking for a waterproof shell to wear in the spring/fall months. Nothing too expensive, $100 or less would be nice.

Too bad it doesn't exist anymore.

He's getting sued.

I'm sure you'll never guess who is suing him.

My ex bought some of his crap. Those shirts are garbage. Not to mention the logo is so giant it's obnoxious. It would be great if it was quality stuff just like the real North Face.

Columbia. I bought a water proof shell for $60 last year. Now, I'm sorry it doesn't come with a cool name like TNF, but it's a jacket that works.
