Default street/trackable all-season tire for the N.W.?

What our some of you running if you don't change tire sets between summer and winter? I don't need track tires but I do hit some roads hard at times so performance is important.

you want them to go in snow too?

Eagle f1's have a good rep for an all season.

Either get some all season tires for the street and track wheels/tires for the track, or some seperate winter tires/wheels and some summer tires/wheels.

Not so much snow cause I will prob. get a set just for those short months but something that is great on dry but still performs well on rain/wet because it changes day by day here.

^Im sure he was alluding to this but....there is no tire that will be suitable in the winter and a good performer on the track. No matter what tire you find, there will be a trade off.

I have Eagle F1's on my WS6 and I can tell you they are worthless in the snow. Perhaps they would do better on an AWD car, but by looking at the tread design it would not be by much.

I have no personal experience with them but....The BFG G-Force Super Sport A/S or the G-Force KDWS look like they would be your best bet. I have used several sets of the G-Force KDW and currently have some on my wagon, they are fantastic in the wet, provide very good grip when dry, but get a little greasy on the track when you get them really hot. I imagine the SS A/S and KDWS will be the same.

I was being sarcastic. You are asking for a tire that covers 3 of the 4 major tire categories.

I run RE11s for the warmer months and plan on buying a set of Blizzaks for the cold months.
RE11s are kinda spendy but I love them, I'm sure a set of RE050s would get the job done for you.

My point is, even though we don't get a crazy winter, you'll still want two different sets.

OP did you make a bet with a coworker?

but seriously. asking one tire to do so many things means that at best it will do most of them... equally poorly.

it's not like dedicated summer tires will immediately explode when there's a bit of water on the road. they can usually handle the rain we get here fairly well. you just don't want to run them on snow/ice.

for the record i'm on yokohama s-drives on the summer wheels, and some sort of hankook all-seasons on the stockers.

I've been running Goodyear F1 all seasons for a couple years now in snow, rain and summer driving. Pretty sweet tire all the way around, I've been quite please with them!

I'm also looking for a turbo that spools at 1000 rpm (approx. 12 mph), has a good power under the curve, and has potential for 7000 whp. Can someone help me?

In all seriousness...supposedly we're going to have a La Niņa winter this year, so probably a good summer tire for spring/summer/fall and a separate set of winter tires will do you best, especially if you're really going to be tracking the car.

Sir! I come and go when ever I please. Speak of jebus moving there, my last name is Pope, so quite fitting.

I've been around for quite a bit on NWIC shenanigans.

You people are more amusing then the SCIC.
