Default Dupont Paint Treatment

Wondering if anyone has had the Dupont paint treatment done, or knows anything about it --
Its a $350 application at the dealership, and guarantees no waxing will be needed for 5 years, and stuff like bird crap and dirt will all come off easily with a hose down/washing. Also protects against acid rain..
Is this just a gimmick to get some more money out of me, or is a legitmate treatment.

Thanks,
Ts

Crap. Usually requires you return to the dealership for no-charge booster treatments so they can sell you other services. Nothing will protect your finish for 5 years. Really, theses things rate above extended warranties in dealership profit

probably the best stuff out there. Protects up to six months. I too pondered with the so-called "treatments" and opted not to go that route.
