It would probably work fine for drag/auto-x, maybe even daily driving if you use an efficient high quality core and shroud it well.

I'm using a C&R dual pass drag radiator that you might call half size. If I remember correctly it is the Scirocco model. It works just fine for daily driving. I Had to duct it for track driving though.
