I am thrashing to try to get the car ready for the 4-11 event. Right now no one is signed up in STX... might have to run STU

When do we have to register for 4-11 by again?

Sounds like I'll be instructing on Sunday, but Shane may drive the STi at the event.

Unfortunately I don't think I'll have any new parts installed on the car before then, but I should hopefully have everything set up by the 4/18 WDCR event.

Debating if I'll be signing up or not. I need to lube the front swaybar and redo the endlinks to keep them from popping, but I also have a busy day on Saturday and been on the go for the last month so I might sit this one out.

I'm trying to find out what class I am in...so I can register. I have everything done to suspension except bushings so that's STX if I remember correctly....

Should be. Typical "deal breakers" are ALK, a tune with added boost, BOV, and being catless. Even then, nobody will complain unless you win.

This was the WRX's first event and it went well. I am enjoying this "just drive the car without messing with stuff" thing.

That was a fun course. Learned a lot today. Mostly that running a different camber on each wheel = bad juju
And that I pick pretty bad lines to follow

I couldn't remember if that was you or Travis. I just remember seeing your car on the course 3 times; that car looks so composed out there.

Worst autocross of my life. By far. I finally fix entry-spinning the Miata all the time, then I hop in a car I can't get out of a corner in to save my life. Was either slow as **** out of corners or sideways and out of control. Obviously more of the latter. Should have just golfed

Oh, and S2000s don't like to be powershifted. They certainly are no Miata. I actually missed Tim's car a LOT today.

I heard that Shane had a good time in the car yesterday. I also heard that nobody actually said hi to him and just kept getting questions of "Where's Josh?" or "Is that Josh's car?" Apparently one guy was all confused, walking around the car, looking inside of it, staring at it. Then he asks Shane if it was his car, then when I said it was mine there was an "Ah ha, I knew it!" Apparently the lack of wing and the seats confused people a little bit.

I kind of wish I had been there, but the school went well and I learned some stuff as I was teaching. Got some good seat time in, so hopefully I'll be ready for next weekend. I did however miss the joy of competition.
